The ACI-Convention Awards
About the Awards & Recognitions
In an effort to honour and recognize the tireless work of 2SLGBTIQ activists, Allies and Human Rights Defenders working to advance 2SLGBTQ+ rights in Canada and Africa the Africa-Canada International Convention on Human Rights Promotion has established a series of awards and recognitions.
These recognitions aim to highlight the significant contributions of individuals and groups who have championed diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice for the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Canada and Africa.
By acknowledging these efforts, The Africa-Canada International Convention on Human Rights Promotion seeks to bring visibility to the ongoing struggles and achievements within the 2SLGBTQ+ movement and to encourage others to join the cause.
